AGAINST THE WORLD
The Story and Legacy of Ibrahim (AS)
There are moments in history when one man stands alone — against a father, against a nation, against a king… against the world.
This is the Story and Legacy of that man.
On a powerful overnight journey, we walk through the life of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) — a story of conviction, exile, sacrifice, and legacy. A story that began with one question in the darkness and continues to shape billions of lives today.
This is not just a lecture series.
This is a spiritual experience.
SESSION 1 — BREAKING FREE
Finding Truth in a World of Lies
Speaker: Yasin Asad
What does it take to question everything you’ve been raised to believe?
A young Ibrahim (AS) looks at the stars, the moon, the sun — and dismantles an entire civilization’s logic in silence before he ever speaks it aloud.
He challenges idol worship.
He confronts his father.
He stands alone in a temple and shatters falsehood — forcing an entire nation to face the absurdity of what they worship.
But knowing the truth and accepting it are two different things.
This session explores:
- The courage to think differently
- The pain of standing against your own people
- The moment conviction stops being private
SESSION 2 — EXILED
What the Truth Cost Him
Speaker: Moeen Mehmood
They didn’t silence him.
They built a fire big enough to erase him.
Thrown into the flames, Ibrahim (AS) stood alone — and Allah commanded the fire itself to change its nature.
But survival was only the beginning.
He leaves his homeland.
He debates a tyrant king.
He asks Allah for deeper certainty.
He pleads for people destined for destruction.
This session explores:
- What faith looks like after the miracle
- The loneliness of exile
- Trust when there is no applause
- Mercy even for those who oppose you
SESSION 3 — TOTAL SURRENDER
The Legacy that Outlives You
Speaker: Arsalan Ahmed
The greatest tests are not through enemies.
They come through love.
A wife left in a barren valley.
An infant placed in the desert.
A dream commanding the sacrifice of a son long prayed for.
And two words that echo through history:
“Then He will not abandon us.”
This session explores:
- Tawakkul when everything is stripped away
- Loving Allah more than what you love most
- Building something that will outlive you
From the sacrifice of Ismail (AS)
To the raising of the Ka’bah
To a du’a that would be answered centuries later
This is the legacy of surrender.
Why This Night Matters
In a world filled with noise, compromise, and confusion — Ibrahim (AS) teaches us what it means to stand firm.
To search.
To endure.
To surrender.
And to build something for Allah that lasts beyond your lifetime.
