Led by Shaykh Hashim Ahmad (USA)
This year’s Aitekaf is uniquely special under the leadership of Shaykh Hashim Ahmad.
Shaykh Hashim Ahmad is the Founder of UBM Trust. Prior to embracing Islam, he had a successful career as a professional musician in Hollywood. In 1970, he left America in pursuit of a deeper spiritual path, eventually accepting Islam in Ethiopia in 1971. He later traveled to Makkah to specialize in Qur’an and Hadith studies.
His life represents transformation, sincerity, and deep spiritual grounding.
Under his guidance, this Aitekaf is not simply about worship — it is about rebuilding the heart.
What Makes This Aitekaf Different?
Most Aitekaf experiences are self-managed.
This one is structured.
Every day is scheduled.
Every session has purpose.
Every participant is guided and mentored.
Designed especially for:
• First-time mutakifeen
• Students seeking discipline
• Professionals seeking balance
• Young men serious about growth
You will not drift through the last ten nights.
You will be led through them.
Program Experience
Throughout the stay, participants will engage in:
• Structured spiritual talks rooted in Qur’an and Sunnah
• Tarbiyah sessions focused on discipline and character
• Practical workshops for post-Ramadan consistency
• Small group brotherhood circles
• One-to-one mentorship and guidance
• A focused, distraction-free worship environment
This is where habits are rebuilt.
This is where distractions are broken.
This is where clarity is formed.
Two Dedicated Tracks
To ensure personal relevance, participants are divided into two tracks:
Student Track

• Purpose-building
Working Professional Track

Both tracks operate within the same Aitekaf environment while receiving tailored mentorship and discussion spaces.
