Dr. Asif Hirani is an accomplished scholar and author with a history of serving the Muslim community for over a decade. His scholarly journey commenced at Dr. Israr Ahmed’s Quran Academy and Jamia Abi Bakr, where he studied Arabic and Hadith. This foundational education paved the way for advanced degrees, culminating in a Master’s in Islamic Studies (Usūl al-dīn) and a Ph.D. in Tafsīr and ʿUlūm-al-Qurʾān from Al-Madina International University.
Beyond formal education, Dr. Hirani engaged deeply with the sciences of Tafsīr, Ḥadīth, and Fiqh through private classes conducted by esteemed scholars in Madinah.
Dr. Hirani has published a number of important articles and books, covering diverse topics within the textual and rational sciences. Noteworthy publications include:
1) “Guidelines for Men-Women Interaction in Islam”
2) “Aspects of Tarbiyah in Surah Yousuf from a Psychological Perspective (Arabic)”
3) “Islamic vs Postmodern Paradigm of Sexuality – Rethinking the Rainbow”
Currently residing in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Hirani holds the following academic positions:
