Seerah Level 1 – Beginning of the Revelation
A Foundational Seerah Experience for Children Ages 6–9
The greatest story ever told begins with a single revelation.
Maktab: Seerah Level 1 is an engaging 8-week learning experience designed to introduce children to the life of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ through interactive storytelling, hands-on activities, creative learning, and guided exploration.
Children will journey through the earliest events of the Seerah, learning about the world before revelation, the first revelation in Cave Hira, and the foundations of the Prophetic mission. Through stories, model-making, coding activities, and discussion, students will develop a meaningful connection with the Messenger ﷺ while building curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
Theme
Beginning of the Revelation
This term focuses on introducing children to the early Seerah in a way that is age-appropriate, engaging, and memorable. Through immersive storytelling and practical activities, students will explore the beginnings of Islam and the mission of the Prophet ﷺ.
What Children Will Experience
Halaqah-Based Storytelling
Interactive sessions that bring the Seerah to life through engaging narratives, discussions, and reflections.
Model Making
Children will create models that help them understand key historical concepts, including the evolution of the Holy Ka’bah.
Scratch Jr.
Hands-on coding activities designed to reinforce learning through creativity, problem-solving, and storytelling.
Interactive Learning
Fun exercises, activities, and challenges designed to keep young learners engaged throughout the program.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the term, students will:
- Develop love and appreciation for Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
- Understand the early events surrounding the first revelation
- Gain foundational knowledge of Seerah
- Strengthen creativity and communication skills
- Learn through both traditional and modern educational methods
- Build confidence through participation and interaction

Participants are required to bring a functional device compatible with Scratch Jr. for the coding activities included in the program.
